Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in women, affecting one in 8 women. It is also one of the most treatable cancers when detected early. Mammograms—x-rays of the breasts—are the most effective screening procedure for the early signs of breast cancer.
Mobile Mammography Screenings
August 17th from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm at the Cape Vincent Library
Upstate Medical University’s Mobile Mammography Program mobile unit provides the same high-quality, low-dose, 3-D screening mammograms available at all of Upstate’s breast imaging locations and the images are read by Upstate University Hospital’s board-certified Women’s Imaging radiologists.
