Lending Services
Our library offers a variety of materials for patrons to borrow. We have books, DVDs, audiobooks and magazines for all ages and interest.
If we do not have something you are looking for, chances are that we can get it for you from another library in the system. We receive inter-library loan deliveries twice weekly. This is a free service for patrons provided by the North Country Library System.
DVDs, Audiobooks and Magazines can be checked out for 2 weeks, as well as any books on “NEW” status. The rest of the items in our collection can be checked out for 28 days.

Public Computers
We have 4 public computers that patrons can use. You must sign in using your library card number and your pin.
*If you do not have a library card, please ask for a guest pass at the circulation desk, or register for a library card.
Wi-Fi Access (Indoor and Outdoor)
The library offers free Wi-Fi 24/7. There is no password, just look for CAVPUBLIC and connect.
– Indoors: During normal business hours visitors can bring their laptops, tablets or smartphones in and connect to the Wi-Fi. We have tables and desks to sit at and work, or you can lounge in an arm chair.
– Outdoors: In the warmer weather; patrons can sit outside on our bench under the tree, the pink bench on the front porch or at one of the tables on the back patio. Patrons can also access Wi-Fi from their cars in the parking lot, so even in the cooler weather or at night, internet access is available!

$.20 per page for black and white
$1.00 per page for color
*Visit the circulation desk and speak to a staff member if your printing is for a school assignment or for job search related activities.
Faxing
$1.00 per page for incoming or outgoing.
* Outgoing cover page is free.
Laminating
$1.00 per sheet
